• Multivector Model Predictive Control (MMPC). control of machine side converters. grid WEC emulator. OWC-based model. Oscillating Water Column (OWC) is one the most well-known wave energy converter (WEC). Typically, OWCs are installed in rocky shores or custom-built breakwaters. However, since profile more favorable an open sea, it can also be a point absorber order to increase extraction. This paper presents development new dual (MMPC) for power converters floating OWC WEC. The fast dynamic response featured by proposed MMPC has proven very suitable deal with highly variable torque and velocity turbines present this type WECs, achieving outstanding tracking references. Besides, provides high-quality current electric generator grid. performance been tested laboratory implementing mathematical model complete on buoy, real-time controller based Thevenin equivalent theorem simplify calculation force generated take-off (PTO) system.
